If you just mumbled something like, “whoa”, you probably need to clear them out. You could tap , but it may take you a while if you’ve never cleared any of those hundreds of unread notifications—and if you have have an iPhone 6 or older, that’s the only option you have. But, if you have an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, or iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, you can use the power of 3D Touch to quickly clear all your notifications in less than two taps.
Here’s how:

Press down until you feel a slight vibration from your display and see the Clear All Notifications bubble appear. Then just tap the bubble, and voila (or “bob’s your uncle”, for our British friends)!
