Are you new to iPhone and not quite sure what Siri can do? Or, are you an iPhone fanatic, but still don’t use Siri all that much? Don’t worry—you’re not alone.
Apple states that Siri is the “intelligent personal assistant that helps you get things done”. But aside from the occasional snarky joke, or asking it to call you by a funny name (mine is: Sir Bananas McGee, Conquerer of Nerds), many people who have an iPhone still don’t use Siri to its fullest.
One person is looking to help with that.
Developer Sandro Roth created Hey-Siri.io: a website that features a large list of commands you can use on your iOS devices, like your iPhone and iPad—as well as on your Mac with the upcoming macOS Sierra release.
Hey-Siri.io has a total of 646 commands, 1,470 variations, 40 categories, and is available in two languages (English and German). Categories include commands for things like: Conversions, Email, Maps and Navigation, Control and Settings, and yes, Funny. There’s even a category for HomeKit—so you can learn how to get the most out of Siri and your connected home devices like your smart light bulbs, thermostat, and more. And, if you discover something new Siri can do that’s not here, you can submit new commands or suggest features for the site.
One really cool thing, is that if you see a command, but aren’t quite clear on how you’d use it, just roll over any words surrounded by a grey box. When you do, the words change to provide suggestions of the different ways you could say it.
You can check out Hey-Siri.io by clicking here. And, of course, if you like it, please donate by clicking the Donate button on the bottom of the website.
Siri is available on all current generation iPhone and iPad devices, and you can use “Hey Siri” without even plugging your phone into power—so it’s even easier to use— on iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, and iPad Pro (9.7-inch).
